Calypso Girls Set To Shine At World Netball Youth Cup 2025
September 19, 2025- Trinidad and Tobago’s Under-21 netball team, the Calypso Girls, is gearing up to compete in the World Netball Youth Cup 2025 in Gibraltar.
The team demonstrated resilience with a 39-33 warm-up victory against Northern Ireland, building confidence ahead of the tournament. Captain Maikea Bramble and Vice Captain Rickibah Isaac expressed optimism about the squad’s ability to adapt to the new time zone while maintaining their training intensity.
The campaign kicks off on Saturday, September 20, in Pool D, where Trinidad and Tobago will face Fiji, followed by matches against Malawi, South Africa, and Barbados. The team aims to finish among the top two in their pool to advance to the quarterfinals.
