CAL MOVES OVER 66,000 PASSENGERS IN JULY BUT CAN THEY KEEP UP?…

Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) has stepped up its operations on the Trinidad and Tobago airbridge to absorb the heavy summer travel surge, transporting a total of 66,814 passengers between the sister isles during the month of July.

The surge in passenger volume follows the airline’s rollout of an enhanced peak-season schedule featuring 72 additional flights and more than 7,600 extra seats across its ATR 72-600 and Boeing 737 fleet. However, as the August holiday rush, Tobago Heritage Festival, and Great Race festivities peak, questions remain across business and tourism sectors over whether the national carrier can maintain schedule reliability without service disruptions.
