Bush fire grounds flights

Bushfire grounded flights at Piarco International Airport; flights resumed at 9:15 Am as the fire was contained.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has confirmed that all flight operations were suspended for half an hour early this morning to ensure the safety of aviation operators and stakeholders. The suspension was due to a bushfire on the outskirts of the Piarco International Airport.
