The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) announced that the MV Cabo Star would be inspected in Panama due to a fire which occurred on board the vessel. They also stated that the Buccoo Reef and the Galleon’s Passage would fill in for the MV Cabo Star. The schedule would be as follows: On Thursday, August 22nd, the Galleon’s Passage will sail from Port of Spain at 9 am and depart Scarborough Port at 4:30 pm. On Friday, August 23rd, the Galleon’s Passage will sail from Port of Spain at 9 am and depart Scarborough at 4:30 pm. Vehicles weighing up to 7000 kg will be accommodated, and foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and other perishables will be prioritized.
