Bon Accord Man Arrested, Stolen Items Recovered in Tobago House Breaking

A report was made to the Crown Point Police Station and officers of
the Criminal Investigations Department conducted investigations which resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old man in the Store Bay
district.

Crown Point, Tobago – February 22, 2024 – A Bon Accord man was arrested, and quantities of items reported stolen were recovered by officers of the Tobago Division, following a report of House Breaking and Larceny in the Crown Point area yesterday.

The victim reported to police that around 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, he secured his apartment at Milford Road and left. Upon returning an hour later, he observed one of the doors open, a number of items displaced, and a quantity of clothing and other valuables missing.

A report was made to the Crown Point Police Station, and officers of the Criminal Investigations Department conducted investigations which led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man in the Store Bay district. A quantity of the stolen items was also recovered from the suspect’s possession.

Meanwhile, in the Central Division, officers of the Tactical Support Intelligence and Investigative Unit conducted an exercise in the Couva district between 7:00 PM and 8:45 PM yesterday (February 21, 2024). During the exercise, the officers proceeded to Carli Bay, where they conducted a search of an abandoned pirogue and discovered one firearm and an empty magazine. Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
