A report was made to the Crown Point Police Station and officers of
the Criminal Investigations Department conducted investigations which resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old man in the Store Bay
district.
A Bon Accord man was arrested and quantities of items that were reported stolen, recovered, by officers of the Tobago Division following a report of House Breaking and Larceny in the Crown Point area yesterday.
The victim reported to police that around 10:30 am, on Wednesday 21st February, 2024, he secured his apartment at Milford Road and went away. He alleged that when he returned an hour later he observed one of the doors open, a number of items displaced and a quantity of clothing and other valuables missing.

A quantity of the stolen items was also recovered from the suspect’s possession.
Meanwhile, in the Central Division, officers of the Tactical Support Intelligence and Investigative Unit conducted an exercise in the Couva district between 7 pm and 8:45 pm, yesterday. During the exercise, the officers proceeded to Carli Bay where they conducted a search of an abandoned pirogue and found one firearm and an empty magazine.
