Canadian Youtuber Chris Must List gets $100,000 bail
June 6, 2024 – Canadian YouTuber Christopher Arthur Hughes, widely known as Chris Must List, has been granted bail. Hughes was arrested and subsequently charged on May 29th, 2024, under the Sedition Act, Section 4 (1) (c), which pertains to publishing, selling, offering for sale, or distributing seditious publications.
His arrest and subsequent bail have drawn significant public attention to the application of the Sedition Act in Trinidad and Tobago and issues surrounding freedom of expression for content creators.
