Artistes Express Frustration As Uncertainty Surrounds Outstanding Payments
October 6th, 2025- Several calypsonians who performed during this year’s Tobago Calypso Monarch competition say they are still waiting to be paid by the Tobago Festivals Commission. Months after the event, the artists claim they have not received any official update or timeline for payment. Many expressed frustration and disappointment, noting that they invested time, energy, and resources into their performances and feel disrespected by the ongoing delay.
