Tobago Division of T&T Chamber of Industry & Commerce says all hope is not lost despite rising crime statistics.
Scarborough, Tobago – Tobago is unaccustomed to the statistic of 10 murders occurring within 5 months, a figure that has sparked significant public outrage. However, despite these concerns, the Tobago business community maintains that all hope is not lost in addressing the island’s crime situation.
While expressing their worry, local businesses do not believe the situation has reached a state of no return. They assert that if the measures announced by the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) are fully implemented, combined with robust support from national security agencies, crime on the island can be effectively managed. This stance highlights a call for concerted action and collaboration to restore safety and stability in Tobago.
