Despite no longer being in the headlines on a regular basis, HIV/AIDS remains a concern in Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, it remains a global concern, which is why an International AIDS Conference is being hosted in Munich, Germany, attended by the Secretary of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection from July 22nd to 26th. Today, she attended a session hosted by the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS, focusing on confronting coercion.
