Access to  US$135 million GEF Fund

Trinidad and Tobago is one of 15 countries which has access to a US 135 million dollar fund, provided by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Called the Blue and Green Islands Funds, it was launched during the just concluded 4th International Small Island Developing States Conference in Antigua and Barbuda. It aims to expand nature-based solutions to combat environmental degredation and protect curical natural assets.
