Scarborough, Tobago – January 18th, 2024 – A new location has been identified and agreed upon for the construction of a new Scarborough Secondary School. This significant development marks a crucial step forward for educational infrastructure in Tobago.
Education Secretary Zorisha Hackett confirmed that the official sod-turning ceremony, signaling the beginning of the construction process, would take place tomorrow, January 19th, 2024. Secretary Hackett provided more detailed insights into the project during a segment on the Good Morning Tobago (GMT) programme this morning, outlining the plans and expected benefits of the new facility for students and the community.
The new Scarborough Secondary School is a highly anticipated project aimed at providing a modern and conducive learning environment, addressing long-standing needs for improved educational facilities on the island. The chosen site is confirmed to be Bacolet Park, Tobago.
