Deshawn Melville, 41, of no fixed address, was severely burned after being seen ablaze on Third Street, Kigwyn Bay Road, Bon Accord, earlier today. Bystanders urged him to extinguish the flames by jumping into a barrel of water before he was rushed to the hospital. Melville is now being transferred to Mt. Hope Hospital for further treatment, while Crown Point Police continue their investigations.
