Bmobile has announced a partnership with Neptune Communications to enhance business continuity, disaster recovery, and reliable connectivity across Trinidad and Tobago. This collaboration will integrate Neptune’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite solutions into Bmobile’s network, ensuring uninterrupted service for businesses and government agencies, especially in remote and disaster-prone areas. According to Bmobile, the satellite technology provides redundancy, automatically taking over during outages to prevent disruptions and lost revenue. TSTT’s Assistant Vice President of Business Sales, Darryl Duke, called the partnership a “game-changer,” while CEO Kent Western highlighted its role in strengthening existing networks. Meanwhile, Neptune CEO Julian Jordan highlighted the importance of resilient communications, especially during disasters. Bmobile says that with 100% geographic coverage, Neptune’s solutions will support network expansion, maintenance, and rapid connectivity restoration after emergencies.
