March 3, 2025 – A Tobago man is wanted in connection with a hit-and-run accident that left a 12-year-old child hospitalized. According to police reports, the child, whose mother is a police officer attached to the Scarborough Police Station, was struck by a vehicle in Black Rock on Sunday night. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, abandoning the car.
The child is currently undergoing surgery at the Scarborough General Hospital. Following the incident, the abandoned vehicle was recovered by police and taken to the Shirvan Road Police Station. Social media posts from family and friends have since been circulating, sharing a picture of the alleged suspect and urging the public to report his whereabouts to the police. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
