March 5, 2025 – After two exhilarating days of revelry on the streets of Trinidad and Tobago for Monday and Tuesday Mas, many Carnival-goers made their way to the serene shores of Pigeon Point, Tobago, for the traditional Carnival cool down. The idyllic beach, known for its crystal-clear waters and laid-back atmosphere, was the perfect setting for revellers to unwind and soak in the final moments of the festive season.
Adding to the excitement, newly crowned Road March Champion, Machel Montano, made a surprise appearance at Pigeon Point, much to the delight of beachgoers. The soca superstar, who dominated the Carnival season with his infectious hit, took the time to mingle with fans, snap photos, and even joined in the rhythm section for an impromptu jam session, further fueling the celebratory energy. The cool-down event also featured thrilling performances from some of the region’s biggest soca and dancehall stars. Soca queen Allison Hinds graced the stage treating the crowd to a high-energy performance of her classic hits. Mr. Vegas also performed. It is safe to say Pigeon Point transformed into a lively post-Carnival oasis, where revellers danced, limed, and perhaps reminisced about another unforgettable carnival season.
