March 5, 2025 – The highly-anticipated Pan on D Road competition came to a thrilling conclusion on Carnival Tuesday evening, showcasing the incredible talent of Tobago’s steel bands. Held on the Scarborough Esplanade, the Bomb competition saw bands vying for the prestigious title by playing a non-calypso tune in a calypso tempo. Meanwhile, the Best Beating Band competition took place at Market Square, where bands competed by performing two calypso/soca songs.
In the Single Pan Band categories for the Bomb Competition and Best Beating, Natural Mystic emerged victorious, scoring 218 and 288 points, respectively. In the Conventional Bands category for the Bomb Competition, Katzenjammers placed first with 266 points, followed by NLCB Buccoooners with 250 points, and NGC Steel Xplosion with 242 points. In the Best Beating Band category for the Conventional Bands, NGC Steel Xplosion was crowned the winner with a total of 287 points, followed by NLCB Buccooers with 279 points, and Alpha Pan Pioneers with 236 points. Pan Trinbago extends heartfelt congratulations to all participating bands for their impressive performances, as well as to the winners for their exceptional displays of talent.
