Scarborough, Tobago – The Tobago Constitutional Reform Bill and Tobago Island Government Bills failed to pass in Parliament after the UNC-led opposition blocked their passage.
Economist Dr. Vanus James, speaking on the Tobago Updates Morning Show, criticized the lack of public engagement in the process and called for a wider dialogue between Tobago and Trinidad. He stressed that a more inclusive discussion is necessary to better represent the island’s interests in the nation’s future.
