IDA says Tobago’s autonomy is about partnership, not separation.
At a press conference earlier today, Kaye Trotman, Public Relations Officer for the IDA, emphasised that defining Tobago’s borders is essential for establishing equity in Trinidad and Tobago’s partnership. She said Tobago’s cry for autonomy is not about separation and added that clear boundaries would enable Tobago to better control its resources and contribute equitably to national development.
