Scarborough, Tobago – On September 21, Caribbean Airlines employees planted nearly 500 seedlings in Courland, Tobago, as part of an ongoing reforestation initiative. This marked the second consecutive year the airline has collaborated with Eco Titans, the Tobago Reforestation Watershed and Rehabilitation Programme, and the Tobago Tourism Agency.
The seedlings planted included species such as Almond, Hog Plum, and Tamarind, all contributing to the restoration of the local ecosystem. Dionne Ligoure, Executive Manager of Corporate Communications, emphasized the importance of community involvement in environmental care. She noted that this initiative supports the airline’s sustainability goals and strengthens its dedication to environmental protection.
