Minister of National Security says heightened TTPS presence for district revenue offices
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Member of Parliament for Oropouche East, Roodal Moonilal, questioned Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds about security concerns for citizens withdrawing cash from banks to pay their property tax. He also inquired about the specific measures being taken to ensure their safety.
In response, Minister Hinds stated that banks and financial institutions, including district revenue offices, receive special attention and increased security from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). The exchange highlights the public’s concern for safety during the property tax payment period and the government’s efforts to address these issues.
