Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The deadline for property tax payments remains September 30th, despite ongoing confusion and logistical challenges. Finance Minister Colm Imbert addressed these concerns in the Senate this afternoon, noting that efforts are underway to develop a solution for online payments.
The Minister acknowledged that developing a reliable digital payment solution has proven to be a complex task. His comments highlight the government’s commitment to improving the payment process, even as the deadline approaches for this important revenue measure.
