ETA required for Trinbagonians to travel to the UK

Citizens of T&T required to have an eta to travel to the UK.

Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago are now required to have an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to the United Kingdom, a new requirement that came into effect on January 8th, 2025.

The UK Government announced that Trinidad and Tobago is among 49 countries whose citizens will now need an ETA to travel to the UK. Applications for the ETA began on November 27th, 2024, ahead of the implementation date. Other Caribbean countries on this list include Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Grenada, Guyana, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
