British High Commissioner, HER Harriot cross praise Tobagonian women for their Tenacity and Innovativeness
Scarborough, Tobago – British High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago, Her Excellency Harriet Cross, praised women in Tobago for their innovation and leadership on the island.
Sending greetings on International Women’s Day during her appearance on the Good Morning Tobago Show, Cross shared that having spent three years serving in the country, she is deeply impressed with the way female Tobagonians take up the mantle of leadership and drive progress.
Her Excellency encouraged women to collaborate with each other so that inclusivity and gender equality can truly become a reality across Trinidad and Tobago. Cross reiterated the UK’s High Commission’s commitment to support such collaborative efforts, emphasizing the importance of empowering women for national development.
