August 20, 2025 – Tobago East Member of Parliament, David Thomas, led a detailed tour of several key water infrastructure sites across the island on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025. The initiative aimed to assess the condition and capacity of Tobago’s water supply systems.
Thomas was joined by Clive Elder, Minister in the Ministry of Public Utilities, and Parliamentary Secretary Shivana Sam. The team visited major facilities including the Courland Water Treatment Plant, the Bad Hill Storage Tanks, and the Hillsborough Dam.
The tour formed part of ongoing efforts to address Tobago’s water challenges and identify areas in need of urgent upgrades or investment.
