The Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities, and Transportation has announced a new initiative aimed at empowering local communities and fostering sustainable tourism in Tobago. The newly launched Sustainable Tourism Community Grant Programme is the first of its kind for the division and offers grants of up to TT$50,000 for eligible civil society groups and private entities.
The grant program is designed to support projects that align with four key focus areas:
The Division encourages Tobagonians to seize this opportunity to develop projects that will help create a more resilient, inclusive, and community-rooted tourism industry. Applications must be submitted through the applicant’s THA Area Representative’s Office by the deadline of Tuesday, August 20th, 2025, at noon.
