May 21, 2025 – Over 200 students from across Trinidad and Tobago participated in the National 3K event, which started at Back Bay in Mt Irvine and concluded at the Buccoo Integrated Facility. Athletes competed in various age categories, including Under-11 and Under-15, representing all eight educational districts: St George East, Port of Spain and Environs, North Eastern, South Eastern, and Tobago. All finishers received medals, with top performers earning special prizes. Surrounded by the unwavering support from their families, teachers, and peers, each student was empowered to complete the 3K race with a strong sense of achievement and pride. In the end, the Tobago district emerged as the winner of the competition, having the most finishers in the top 20. U13 Girls winner Chennai Jada Moore of Mayaro Government Primary and U13 Boys winner Taj Moses of Lambeau Anglican Primary shared their experience with us.
