Trinidad and Tobago – June 22, 2024 – The Ministry of Education has announced that 277 students have been awarded national bursaries under the National Bursaries Programme for the 2023/24 academic year. These bursaries, aimed at supporting undergraduate studies, were granted after a thorough review of the applications submitted to the programme.
A statement released by the Education Ministry highlighted a significant investment in youth education, with a substantial budget of $36,387,272 allocated to cover tuition fees and other allowances for the awardees. This initiative underscores the Government of Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to fostering educational opportunities and supporting students in their pursuit of higher education.
