Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – A three-person committee has been appointed to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths of Member of Parliament Lisa Morris-Julian and her two children.
Speaking at a press conference today, Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds explained that, following significant public discourse and differing reports of the incident from the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Services and other government bodies, the Prime Minister deemed it necessary to conduct an independent investigation. The committee’s mandate is to provide a comprehensive and impartial review of the incident.
