UWI South Campus Contention Heats Up
May 26, 2025 – In a fiery post-cabinet briefing last Thursday, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar reignited debate over the future of the long-dormant UWI South Campus in Penal-Debe, declaring that the Faculty of Law will be moved there and warning the University of the West Indies not to stand in the way.
