Trinidad and Tobago Judiciary Announces New Appointments to Court of Appeal and Industrial Court
September 3 2025- The Industrial Court has welcomed three new members to its bench, according to a recent press release. Labour advocate Rudranauth Indarsingh, attorney and academic Dr. Selwyn Samaroo, and former senior magistrate Brambhanan Dubay will now preside over cases in the General and Essential Services Divisions.
In a related development, the judiciary’s highest court also gained a new appointee. On Tuesday, President Christine Carla Kangaloo officially swore in Justice Ricky Rahim as a Judge of the Court of Appeal. Justice Rahim brings nearly 14 years of experience from the Civil High Court and is recognized as a trained Judicial Settlement Officer.
These appointments mark a significant step in strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s judicial system.
