Traditional voting cannot work for Tobago

UTP leader Nickocy Phillips says voting for traditional parties would not work in the best interest of Tobagonians.

The failed autonomy bills highlight why voting for traditional political parties is not in the best interest of Tobagonians, according to Nickocy Phillips, Political Leader of the Unity of the People. Phillips believes neither the PNM nor the UNC has shown genuine care for giving Tobago what it truly deserves. Now that the bills have failed, both parties will likely use the issue as an election tactic to sway voters in the upcoming general elections.
