Health division’s Juliet Alleyne elected as 2nd vice president of Caribbean association of probation and parole (CAPP).
Scarborough, Tobago – A technocrat from the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, Juliet Alleyne, has been elected as the 2nd Vice President of the Caribbean Association of Probation and Parole (CAPP).
Probation departments from eight Caribbean countries gathered in Barbados on September 9th and 10th for the official launch of the CAPP. Representatives from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, The Bahamas, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Turks and Caicos, and Trinidad and Tobago signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enhancing regional probation and parole services.
The five-year agreement is set to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and advocacy for evidence-based reforms, all with the goal of improving services across the region.
