Stokely Vale FC holds top spot after winning Signal Hill 4-3

Scarborough, Tobago – August 23, 2024 – Last Friday night at the Cyd Gray Sporting Complex, fans were treated to an intense doubleheader in the Tobago Football Association Eastern Conference.

Stokely Vale FC held onto the top spot with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Signal Hill United. The match reached a dramatic conclusion when an own goal by Maurice Hackett in the 90th minute secured the win for Stokely Vale. Rickeldi Williams was a key player, scoring twice. Signal Hill United responded with an equalizer from Anson Campbell, and Dominique Roberts then put Signal Hill ahead, but Williams quickly brought Stokely Vale level with a brilliant finish. Jokiah Leacock restored Stokely Vale’s lead with a header right before halftime. An own goal in the 69th minute brought Signal Hill back into the game, but Stokely Vale ultimately clinched the win with another own goal in their favor.

In another match, Lambeau FC showcased their dominance with a resounding 10-0 victory over St. Clair’s Coaching School. Kevin Caesar was the standout, scoring four goals in the 4th, 10th, 63rd, and 74th minutes. Jahiem Roberts contributed with a brace, netting in the 51st and 78th minutes. Additional goals from Delano Davis, Kai James, and Darreon Moses completed the rout, significantly boosting Lambeau FC’s goal difference. The evening’s matches underscored the competitive spirit and high-scoring action of the Tobago Football Association Eastern Conference.
