The sod-turning for the Goldsborough WASA Intake turned into a war of words between politicians. During her remarks, Deputy Chief Secretary Dr. Faith Brebnor stated that it was one of the rare occasions when a THA representative was invited to a WASA ceremony, even as Tobago continues to face water challenges. However, Ministers Marvin Gonsalves and Penelope Beckles-Robinson defended their administration, insisting that Tobago has never been left out and assuring that they are doing their best to provide the entire island with a sufficient water supply.
