Shurnecia Walker, Representing The Country Of Ethiopia, Crowned Miss Windward Afro Queen 2025
Roxborough, Tobago – Tobago’s cultural heritage is deeply rooted in traditions brought by our African ancestors. To honor this rich heritage, the Ms. Windward Afro-Queen show was established, providing young women with the opportunity to learn about and creatively showcase this vibrant culture.
This year’s competition, held on Wednesday night at the Cyd Gray Complex, had a unique twist. The eight delegates each represented a different African country while artistically interpreting an element of traditional Carnival. At the end of the night, it was Shurnecia Walker, representing Ethiopia, who emerged victorious.
