Authorities discuss plans to reduce plastic pollution as T&T was ranked No. 6 in the Caribbean for plastic pollution.
The country of Trinidad and Tobago has been ranked number six in the Caribbean for plastic pollution, according to a report from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on sustainable plastic waste management. Worse yet, the country is also listed as fifth in the world per capita for “production of mismanaged waste.”
