Assemblyman Ian Pollard presents a rainwater harvesting system to homeowners, promoting water conservation and sustainable water management practices.
Scarborough, Tobago – Ms. Diane Procope has received a new rainwater harvesting system. A team that included Assemblyman Ian Pollard and Assistant Secretary Councillor Orlando Kerr, along with representatives from Habitat for Humanity, presented the system to her earlier this week.
Rainwater harvesting is a simple process: it captures and stores rainwater from rooftops for later use. This system has many benefits, such as:

- 2. Helping to prevent floods and erosion.
- 3. Reducing costs on your water bill.
- 4. Providing a free supply of water for things like watering plants, flushing toilets, and washing clothes.
