Scarborough, Tobago – Tobago’s economy has not been performing well, and the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) has shouldered heavy criticism as a result. However, Anselm Richards, Technical Advisor in the Division of Finance, Trade, and the Economy, stated that a lot of work is happening in the background to improve the island’s economy.
Richards highlighted significant progress on the establishment of the Tobago Development Bank as a key example of these efforts. His remarks aim to provide reassurance and shed light on the strategic initiatives underway to bolster Tobago’s economic foundation and foster sustainable growth.
