She asked for parliamentary intervention in some areas, including artificial intelligence, enduring powers of attorney, and persons with disabilities. The President spoke emotionally about the demerit points system that the current government has scrapped. She called for measures to prevent reckless driving on the nation’s roads, as her only sister and brother were victims of car crashes.
