Assemblyman Niall George speaks about the rural electrification programme
During the recent THA media briefing, Assemblyman Niall George from the Division of Settlements, Public Utilities, and Rural Development provided updates on Tobago’s ongoing Rural Electrification Programme. The initiative saw the installation of lights at French Fort and targeted communities like Charlotteville, Pembroke, Moriah, Mason Hall, and Bon Accord. Assemblyman George detailed the program’s costs and highlighted areas yet to be electrified, such as Mary’s Hill and Charlotteville. Notably, the completion of 516 street lights installation was also announced, illuminating various communities across the island.
