The Lambeau Anglican Primary School celebrates Asante Africa bringing light to culture and heritage.
Scarborough, Tobago – One school is ensuring its students can actively learn about Emancipation and their African heritage, even though the public holiday falls during the July/August vacation. That school is Lambeau Anglican Primary School, and they decided to call their special initiative “Asante Africa Day.”
This program offers students a unique opportunity to engage with historical and cultural knowledge outside of the traditional academic term. It highlights the school’s commitment to providing a holistic education that encompasses significant aspects of Trinidad and Tobago’s diverse heritage, fostering a deeper connection to African roots.
