Jereem Richards sets new national record for Trinidad and Tobago in men’s 400m at Paris 2024 Olympics

Jereem “The Dream” Richards has made history for Trinidad and Tobago, setting a new national record in the men’s 400m final at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Richards completed the race in an impressive 43.78 seconds, becoming the first Trinbagonian to break the 44-second barrier in this event. Despite his record-breaking performance, Richards narrowly missed out on a podium finish, placing fourth. Zambia’s Muzala Samukonga edged out Richards for the bronze medal with a time of 43.74 seconds. Meters
