Investigation into maternal death concluded
TRHA concludes investigations into deaths of Nadea Shangie and her baby Zeniah.
Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection (DHWSP), along with the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA), have completed a preliminary investigation into the tragic deaths of Nadea Shanghie and her baby, Zeniah.
In a statement issued today, the Division and the TRHA noted that the investigation’s findings indicate that the medical staff involved provided emergency care fully adhering to all appropriate clinical pathways. Their conclusion affirms that the medical team took every possible action to save Nadea’s life.
