Insufficient Cancer Treatments
Chairwoman of the T&T Cancer Society, Dr. Asante le Blanc, has raised the issue of inadequate cancer treatments
The Trinidad and Tobago Non-communicable Diseases Alliance members were questioned at today’s Joint Select Committee meeting, where various issues were raised. Chairwoman of the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society, Dr Asante Le Blanc, raised the issue of dysfunctional equipment at the various regional health authorities across the nation, which causes many services to be delayed for cancer patients, along with the problem of the availability of drugs for treatment.
