As part of the month-long observance of World Food Day, the Department of Marine Resources and Fisheries hosted a special Lionfish Deboning Session at the Foodhub to familiarize cooks with the invasive species. The rapidly growing population of lionfish in the waters surrounding Tobago is altering the natural food chain of marine creatures and leading to the depletion of certain species.
