Heritage Petroleum Company Limited Assists in Oil Spill Response
The requisite equipment and teams were mobilised for departure to Tobago beginning this afternoon (Friday 9th February 2024). Heritage will continue to support response activities for the duration of the exercise.
Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage), at the direction of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), is providing resources to assist with the oil spill response in Tobago.
The company has engaged its Incident Management Team (IMT), Business Support Team (BST) and Wildlife Rescue Team (WRT) towards this end. The teams include subject matter experts from Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE), logistics and field operations, with decades of experience in safely and efficiently managing hydrocarbon spills.
