Government Targets Rental Costs in Major Cost-cutting Push
May 23, 2025 – The Government is set to slash millions from its annual budget by overhauling how it rents properties for public use. Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar announced that a full review of the state rental agreement is underway to reduce spending and tighten oversight.
