Kobina Ackon, a freelance YouTuber and vlogger from Ghana better known by his brand name, Wodemaya, holds an aeronautical engineering degree from China’s Shenyang Aerospace University. He is traveling around the world, vlogging about cultural exchange. After touching down in Tobago, Wodemaya was overwhelmed by the island’s hospitality.
By focusing on one nation at a time, Wodemaya seeks to transform the unfavorable image of Africa and encourage people to visit, vacation, and invest, making it a desirable destination. “I just want to connect Africans in Tobago with Africans in Africa just the history of how Africans got here just Africa in general the way of life just to dive into the food they eating here and just compare the foods we eat in Africa just to compare just to see the connection that we have.”
“Africa to the World” is a project that Wodemaya uses to connect with those interested in Africa and the African diaspora, offering insights on the continent not often covered by the media.
