Scarborough, Tobago – April 3, 2024 – During a recent session, Laurence Hislop, a Member of the Joint Select Committee Board, questioned representatives from the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago regarding the state of foster care and adoption services in Tobago.
Hislop’s inquiries specifically focused on the number of caseworkers available on the island and the overall availability of foster care and adoption options for vulnerable children in Tobago. His concerns highlight the critical need for adequate resources and personnel to support child welfare initiatives on the island.
